PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I am not able to find information on how to do a safe ram clear (error #83) on a Bally 5000 Plus Firecracker slot machine. I don't believe that this machine requires ram clear chips. I think that there is a jumper to be moved in the procedure but am not sure. Is there anybody out there that can help me? Sure would appreciate any information that will solve my problem.

1) Are you very sure it is a Bally 5000 and not a Bally 5500..?
2) Does your Machine have a 7-Seqment or vacuum display.
3) Can you tell me what the EPROM numbers of your game is , there should be 4 or 6.
If you send me this details , I will give you the easy ways to RAM_CLEAR the machine.
The are 3 ways to RAM_CLEAR the Bally 5000 , but some MExxxxxx firmware could change your procedure...
